Dream Keepers Academy of Baton Rouge (DKA-BR) is committed to delivering high-quality, impactful learning experiences that enhance scholars’ academic alignment with Louisiana’s content standards. The organization’s mission is to empower scholars to achieve their academic growth objectives and personal aspirations. This mission is realized through the provision of a comprehensive curriculum, exceptional instructional support, and equitable access to educational tools and opportunities. DKA-BR remains steadfast in its efforts to close achievement gaps, promote academic preparedness, and ensure the mastery of essential skills for all scholars.

At Dream Keepers Academy of Baton Rouge, we believe every student can succeed with the right support and resources. Our mission is to inspire hope in each student, unlocking their creativity, confidence, and character, and giving them the courage to dream big and reach for the stars.
Our instructors encourage students to persevere through challenges, celebrate their successes, and realize their full potential as scholars. Dream Keepers Academy is a safe and supportive space where students engage in meaningful learning and collaborate with their peers.
We are Keepers of the Dream—not only honoring the dreams of those who came before us but also ensuring that the dreams of our scholars become their reality.
Academic Rigor & Relationships
The Academy’s goal is to provide high quality curriculum and instruction in core subject areas that promotes rigor and higher order thinking skills as well as address academic gaps using personalized learning models. Our focus is to be intentional in the teaching and learning experience while building positive relationships with our students. We aim to tap into students’ interests to help support their preparation for College and Career opportunities. DKA-BR provides mentoring to students and engages in ongoing communication with parents and teachers to monitor students’ progress and track students’ mastery of core content.
