The mission of Dream Keepers Academy of Baton Rouge is to ignite within every student a sparkle of hope that captivates their creativity, confidence, and character, which together, gives them courage to reach for the stars and to dream big. The instructors of Dream Keepers Academy seek to impress upon each student the ability to persevere through challenges, celebrate success, and know that within themselves they can reach their maximum potential and become the best scholar they can be.
Our Resources
DKA-BR provides meaningful instruction using high quality Tier I resources accompanied with supplemental
materials to support purposeful and engaged learning experiences for our students. The learning center has a
wealth of reading books within the library that expands across K-12 grade levels.
Students are supported by highly qualified teachers with experience in teaching core content areas expanding across K-12 content and grade levels.
DKA-BR has Academic Coaches to support our peer tutoring model. Our Academic Coaches are high school
and college students who serve DKA students across core content areas.
Homework Helpline is an essential learning resource for all DKA-BR students. Students join the hotline on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM to work with experienced instructors on specific homework concerns.
